Lean thinking is a well accepted method for
improving the operational performance of manufacturing and service
organizations by eliminating waste and optimizing the flow of products and
services to customers. |
| |
|
This three day course introduces the key concepts of lean
thinking. It compares lean to Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints and other
process improvement approaches, and describes the key steps in using lean
to improve operational performance. |
| |
|
Participants will obtain an understanding of lean thinking
techniques and the knowledge and skills required to begin applying these
methods in their organizations. The course is ideal for large and
small manufacturing and service organizations that are interested in
improving their operational efficiency and performance. |
| |
|
The course can
be customized to meet your organization’s needs, and/or integrated into a
comprehensive process improvement program. A one day course that
provides an overview of lean thinking concepts and techniques is
also available. |
